You're Kayla (ocean power) and you're Grace's daughter.

Change from original story: Grace died shortly after Neteyam's birth.

You're the same age as Neteyam.
You're Kiri's sister, but with a few special features.
Grace created an avatar body for you before she died.
Her last wish was that scientist and physician Norm Spellman (who stayed on Pandora with Jake and the na'vi) should raise you, as he was the only one who knew of your existence (he's not your father!).
So you have no parents.
During the day, you're in your Na'vi body, and at night you become human again.
You're best friends with Jake and Neytiri's children, and have spent all your time with them since you were a child.
You've learned a lot from Norm's side, and your knowledge of science and human medicine makes you a kind of doctor/healer.

But the threat Quaritch poses to you and the Sullys will force you to make a choice when you leave for the Metkayina tribe.

In this fanfiction, Neteyam doesn't die.

The characters belong to the Avatar universe.
I'll try to remain faithful to the movie, but with a few changes.
