Keith finally understands the feeling of being unwanted as everyone turns their back on him and after he does things to harm himself to make himself more to their image. When he suffers a major incident due to his methods of purificating himself and the others find out no one helps, their angry he thought they'd accept him after he took away his galran features. So he goes to the only place he knows half bloods are taken care of. The horrible cells of the galran empire where he at least is fed and wanted for something. He makes peace with his family and friends not wanting him and the fact that his mother might never come due to him being a monster.
