What happens after the world actually ends? We all know the films and books, the happily ever afters. But real life doesn't end like that, it doesn't care about what you want. It never ends tied together in a neat bow. There's always loose ends, missing pieces. Follow the journey of a teenage girl whose only purpose left on the broken planet is to protect the people she cares for. Her little brother's only caregiver and the only thing holding everything together. A WIP I wanted to share with other people, and hoping that if people actually read this and like it, it will keep me motivated to finish it. Please give me constructive criticism, anything except for hate is welcome!! (if this ever becomes a real book I would dedicate it to the people whose efforts are taken for granted and never seen)

THE END

All her life, Bee Samuels has been caged in the bunker her family's been holed up in since World War III. Her mother harps on about how she is God's chosen one. How she's going to save the world from a premature rapture. When a wendigo slashes Bee's mother to death, she grapples to protect herself and her family when she discovers an incinerating fire burning inside her. Powerful enough to destroy the indomitable Leviathans, but also delicate enough to tease a flower into blooming. She's shoved face first into a world that's waiting for her. They call her The One and place their hopes and dreams on her shoulders. It's a burden she's not sure she can carry. It doesn't help that her adversary is the handsome stranger that makes her heart pound, her stomach jittery, and makes breathing an afterthought. The stranger that keeps appearing, trying to befriend her. The man who stole her first kiss. Can Bee end the tyrant reign of the Leviathans before they wipe out the entire human race?
