Mature
At age six, Pullman Grier was abducted by a monster.

Held deep underground in the Ontario wilderness, he and four other children laboured for years, scrounging for the creature's food, until the day the impossible happened: Pull slew the monster. Three children crawled out of the cold earth and made the long, bleak trek back to civilization.

Now an adult in frozen Winnipeg, Pull scrapes by on a minimum-wage job, a stomach destroyed by childhood malnutrition and a grim sense of humour. The only good thing in his life is an online group that uses image recognition to search for victims of human traffickers and return them home.

Then, a local boy vanishes.

Unable to find help, the boy's desperate father approaches Pull's group. Only Pull sees the calling card of the monster that took him sixteen years prior. The monster that is supposedly lying dead and buried in the Canadian wilderness.

Knowing the thing that stole his childhood could still be abducting children and that more will be taken if he fails, Pull scours secrets buried in his old prison. Secrets that have lurked in the darkness just beyond the firelight for all of human history.

Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. Warning: Rated Mature for possible smut and probable gore. I'm sorry I don't know what I'm doing but this ain't for little kids. Also, cover doesn't belong to me. Credit to creator. Found it randomly when I searched up Undertale.

『 Johan Liebert x fem!reader 』 YOU, a college student in Frankfurt, start receiving emails that embarked on the dim of normalcy you worked so hard to build on your own; starting from a message claiming you as the light amidst the hell of Kinderheim, who came just in time to bring a paradise of doomsday and grime, something that pleased the monster inside him. Initially, you thought of reporting the email as spam until another ding came: the monster, so pleased and full, aims to return the favor-something to flesh out the paradise you had granted him back at Kinderheim. °:. *₊ ° . ☆ °:. *₊ ° . ° . johan liebert x fem!reader rewritten © 2024 crossposted to tumblr, ao3, & quotev | do not repost
