Layla Baggins was not a Hobbit, but the Shire was her home. Of sorts. Her birth parents had fled from something and she was found at the edge of Hobbiton alongside her late mother. She was taken in and raised as a Hobbit. Though she wouldn't admit it, she longed for more. She wanted to know who her family was and what else was out there. What will happen when she gets the chance to find out?

This story is using characters and places from both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. If you know either 1 or neither of these stories this will probably not make any sense to you though you might still enjoy it. Further more please bare in mind my spelling punctuation and grammar is not the best so please excuse it. Finally if you enjoy it please let me know so I know to make more. For these stories I am not including 19 years later or by extention the curse child. I also tweaked some of the lord of the rings universe to suite the story. I don't have the time to list all of them but you should probably know the significant ones: Frodo was now 13 at the beginning of the events of the lord of the rings rather than 50 and he went to the undying lands when he was 14. Hobbits can now be of magical blood. Half-Blood, Pure-Blood, Muggle-Born and Squib. Sam, Merry, Pippin and Rosie are now all the same age as Frodo. Middle Earth is east of America and South West of UK. All people's of Middle Earth of magic born are sent to Hogwarts as geograficaly it is closest. Hobbits are slightly taller than they were before as otherwise it would be a little odd. And some other things I changed from Harry Potter are: Their is a wizarding university now. Harry and Frodo's parents were friends as they also went to hogwarts. Voldemort and Bellatrix were never a thing so no Delphini. Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw were a thing when they were alive. (significant later in the story) I also invented new characters for this story. I really hope you enjoy and I didn't bore you with this I just thought you ought to know.

"The world was young, the mountains green, No stain yet on the Moon was seen, No words were laid on stream or stone When Durin woke and walked alone. He named the nameless hills and dells; He drank from yet untasted wells; He stooped and looked in Mirrormere, And saw a crown of stars appear." You could say Endor Baggins's life was the complete opposite of her uncle Bilbo's. Having grown up as the proper hobbit, with no "trouble in an adventurous spirit," she was highly praised by strangers and hobbits alike. That is, until her father and mother died in a tragic incident. The Shirefolk would forever blame shock for Endor's dramatic change, although she remembers the shift as the revelation of her true character. Indeed, whereas Bilbo transformed from adventurous to reserved, Endor moved from conservative to travel-frenzied. And her little brother of three years, Frodo, had no tether on her actions. After all, Bilbo was there to look after her sibling as she travelled the West for months at a time. With this change in spirit, it came as no surprise when she demanded to accompany her uncle in his visit to Erebor, thirty-three years after his departure from the Company. After all, it had been Bilbo whom she idolized: her courageous uncle who reclaimed a mountain from a dragon with a rogue band of dwarves. This was a simple visit to a distant land, yet the journey made a second hobbit into legend. And thus, her story begins when she took her first true step, from the Shire to the Lonely Mountain, hobbits to dwarves, past to future, and loneliness to love. "You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. With one of them bursting with light, and the other filled with darkness their story will be anything but easy. When 3 hobbits are set off on a quest to take a ring to Rivendell, many unexpected things happen. Said ring holds much more power than anyone could ever imagine. With two new hobbit companions, making 5, the shire-born hobbits set off for the quest to save Middle Earth, consolidating with 5 other members to form the fellowship of the ring. The original aim for the ten was to reach the wicked land of Mordor. But, their plans are easily muddled up. This book is mostly from my perspective, that of Maisy Baggins. Read read read my friends! :) ~ All other credit goes to its rightful owners! (J.R.R Tolkien, Peter Jackson, etc) I am not and I repeat am not trying to claim lord of the rings as my own! This is a fanfiction.
