"Yes, I believe so, but why only Rue?" Ben asked in return.
"Because, I've tried doing the things she does but it's no use. I'm a runt."
"You're not a runt, don't ever call yourself that. Some people just start with their door open wider than others, so maybe you are and we'll just have to see over time."
"Okay... I love you two. Don't ever change."
Esmere hugged them tighter as if when he would let go he would lose them forever.
"We won't. I promise." Eclypse whispered then smiled sadly, glancing between Ben and Esmere.
It felt like a mistake...
Telling them everything.
But there's no going back now.
