TO LOVE A KING tells the tale of two half sisters driven to edge of the sword. Charlotte and Alicent Hightower. The strife both women, torn apart by the death of their mothers, family & duty. Also their history forms part of the core of House of The Dragon.

Rheanyra and Charlotte are inseparable friends, loyal and faithful to each other. Even when Charlotte starts visiting Maegor Targaryen, after the death of his wife, Queen Mellario, Rheanyra isn't offended, she even wants her best friend to marry her uncle, the King.

However all that changed when Alicent ruined the perfect picture, instigating most of the events that shaped their lives forever, giving rise to insightful and memorable impact, thereby reaching a division of civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.
