Ming is a character made by Starkura. While Starkura's heritage ranges, Star decided to make her character, Ming, be from the country she has felt an unexplainable connection to since young: China. And for some reason, the name Ming just sticks with Starkura, so she names her Ming. Lotus flowers symbolize rebirth, so Star made Ming's surname be Lotus. Ming's story is Starkura's story- many. Starkura's story is Ming's story- one. Together, they are one person. If past lives are real, Starkura knows for sure that in her past life, she was Chinese, so do others. So, being curious as to what kind of person she was, and what kind of person she'll become, Starkura introduces to you... Ming Lotus.

From Ming to You, Holder:
My mission is to get close to you, get to know you, get to become you. I put you on this mission, and I promise, I will get you through this. Let's become an 'us' again, the soul merging with the conscious mind, so there can be a balance between the wisdom and the simplicity, the fun and the productivity. Let's do this thing called 'life'... together.
