As if his life couldn't be destroyed enough, Shane is here, praying to a god he doesn't know exist, hoping to whatever spirit is out there, and crying to Mother Nature herself to please and save Bambi. That stupid girl he let himself fall in love with, he let himself become vulnerable with, and once again it caused him pain.
"I'm so sorry," he choked out, a pure apology that Shane wasn't known for.
"We'll get you to Harvey," he promised and picked her up, her small weight nothing to him. Shane could feel the tears running down his cheeks but he refused to acknowledge them or even wipe them away as he would usually do. "Please wake up."
He needed her to wake up.

This is kind of another book that connects to Lean on Me, this is just from Shane's POV and how he struggles! I'm practicing with my writing so I figured this could help as Shane is a very emotional person and maybe I could capture his emotions. LMK what you think!

MINE. [I.J.B. x Reader]
"Don't" she managed to mumble in a broken voice. "Don't what?" I asked with tears clearly visible in my eyes. "Don't leave me. Please." I could hear her break out into low sobs. I turned around slowly to face her without letting her hands move from my waist. I tangled one hand in her beautiful, soft but messy hair and the other hand around her waist so delicately that I felt like if I didn't she'd break. She traced her hands up my back stopping around my shoulder blades gripping that area of my shirt and burying her face in my chest as I tightened my grip on her. I don't want to let her go. [Completed] [Editing Completed] I'm sorry for the poorly written book but it gets better I guess. It's my first fic. Plz if you have any way to criticize you can go ahead. But don't hate.Complete

I knew it would break me and shatter me into pieces but I prayed to hear a negative answer when I very well knew what I was expecting was next to impossible. "YES" He replied nonchalantly. His hair looked messy from how many times she would have raked her fingers through it. He's My Mate
CAUTION CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT. "Say it, Allison," he said, his voice low as he trapped me against the rough wall. A shiver ran down my spine, his voice pulling at me, the power in it making me want to do anything he asked. I shook my head, afraid my voice might betray me. His teeth lightly grazed my neck causing a sigh to get past my lips. I could feel him smile against my skin. He knew he was going to get what he wanted one way or another. I tried to slip away, but he grabbed my wrists, pinning them down tightly. He pressed his hard body against me. I was aware of every inch of him that was touching me. "Don't think you can just leave. We're not done yet." My stomach tightened at his words, the desire inside burning for him. My damn body at war with my mind yet again. He slid his hand up to the edge of my shorts, slowly working it's way up as his mouth trailed small nips from my neck to my collar bone and lower, stopping only when he reached the fabric. I could feel my resolve weakening as his hand reached its destination. "Say it," he demanded. I moaned, my head tipping back as he moved expertly. I wanted to say it then, I really did. But if I said the words, there was no going back. ***************** Allison Cole has just turned seventeen. Most girls would be excited, but she doesn't see it as anything special.
