My understanding:
So from what I know/understand, Stone ran away from his household or kicked out. His family was Wealthy and he was mistreated by his family or they just took favor to his sister? Also it takes place somewhere in the 1920's? If I'm wrong, sorry, I literally just got into the fandom.

A.U Idea:
Months after Stone runs away from his family {and after meeting maggot} he's abducted back by his toxic family, due to his rowdy behavior and depression, they force him into a lobotomy to "fix" him. {Their definition of fix being making him more submissive, and less rebellious} Vinnie figures this out and essentially kidnaps him back. Skipp, not understanding why Stone is so quiet, tries to make him smile. {Hard to do when he has no more emotions.
