Wren believed she had put Navi behind-along with her hometown, Cape May-for the city when her mother died. But after a decade clinging to fading memories of her one-sided love for her childhood friend, she finally gets a chance: It only matters if she's willing to take it.

This summer, Wren and her dad pack the car and road trip back to the quaint seaside town-leaving behind her name and her latest ex. Sharing a bedroom wall with Navi Patel will prove difficult for Wren's sanity; new friends will prove to be transformational; and the past will revisit her.

Wren's two worlds are crashing together and the only woman she wants seems more far away than ever.

Anyone But Her

31 parts Complete

Wren and Kenna hated each other in high school. Now mature-ish adults, they still hate each other. The problem? They're engaged. A year away from marriage, according to two of the most powerful people in the world: their parents. ***** Wren Castile and Kenna Gold are engaged...because their parents say so (and no, they're not kidding). Wren has one year to marry her former nemesis, or else. The fact that Kenna emulated her infamously anti-gay father throughout high school seems to be irrelevant--even to Kenna herself. Suddenly Wren and the girl she never wanted to see again are on the same (bickering) side as they face mandatory dates, disastrous family get-togethers, and their unhappy past. Wren is filled with mistrust, but to protect her heart, she might just have to sit back and let it lead the way.
