Anne Villegas is the only child of business tycoon, Mr. Jose Casimiro Villegas, who owns a telecom company and various businesses in the Philippines. Anne, who is also the head of Marketing and Communications department ng kanilang kumpanya, would receive threats to her life, because she's the only one who will be the successor of her father's wealth, ang yaman ng mga Villegas.

Behind all of these killing attempts is Mr. Villegas' enstranged second wife, Adriana Villegas, who never signs the annulment filed by his husband after a discovered extra marital affair.

Anne would then meet Carlo, a guardian who's been living on earth for more than 300 years already. Every 100 years, a guardian must find one person that they will serve and protect. Now that his final year has come, he was assigned by the Lord of Guardians, Dakris who is also known as Mr. Smith becuase of his unusual long white hair, a long-time friend of Anne's father.

Carlo will be Anne's bodyguard protecting her from those who wish her dead. But until when?
