He couldn't forget the pirates attack with them taking Cross away and then leaving him there in the woods to bleed out. He remembered everything so vividly and how it ached deep in his chest, where the golden heart locket laid against it secured. He would find Cross, he would find him and take down the pirates who ruined his life all those years ago.
