A desperate Tails captures Shadow to interrogate him for his role in Sonic and Amy's abduction. Hooking up Shadow to a device to try to extract some information, Tails surprises both of them with how far he is willing to go to get what he's after. Is he doing it for Sonic, for science, or for some other reason?
 
I saw this set of drawings by CyanAltar (https://www.instagram.com/p/C47tIB2op97/?img_index=1) of evil, mad scientist Tails with a frightened Shadow attached at his head to a machine. I tried to write a reasonable story for how and why that could have happened. This is what I came up with. I did my best to keep everybody relatively in character, while understanding that the original drawing shows two characters with expressions that are extremely atypical of them, so I had to write them into that position, which was fun. Since Sonic Prime is freshest in my mind, those characterizations probably bled through the most.

They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. Seeing as the boys are always fighting, Rouge, Sticks and Amy figure it would be a great time to sit back and relax. What better way to relax than staying at a resort for a few weeks?
