Since the beginning of the cosmos, there has been a fault in existence's essential code: an ontological virus that causes anomalies to destroy reality's consistency. As intelligent life evolved, corruption disseminated inconsistencies that undermined their foundations, causing advanced realms to collapse into abstraction when attempting to isolate them. This primordial flaw eventually gave birth to the Dark Rabbit, an evil force that represents conflict itself. Infecting the hallowed Chrono Codex reality-reset artefact in the cosmos of Arcadia, it planned to create viral paradoxes that would disintegrate order from within. The Dark Rabbit lay dormant throughout Arcadia's existence, nurturing civilisations' existential contradictions before bursting forth as an aggressive ontopathogenic virus via an arrogant researcher's interdimensional blasphemy. The virus destabilised unified rules by infecting perplexing mutations, warping space and time, and mutating matter into surreal anti-geometries. All coherent existence was consumed by timeline paradoxes, cosmic forgetfulness, reality unmakings, and abstract unliving horrors.Only a cataclysmic reality reset could purge an isolated Arcadia seedbox, leaving hairline gaps for the Dark Rabbit to re-infiltrate and continue its unending goal of absorbing all realities' rational frameworks into incomprehensible, nonsensical abstract.

Reverse harem and bxb and bxbxgxb and more Year 2045: Nuclear war devastated the surface of earth, and the people living on it barely survived. Those who did, became a bigoted bunch, living in small collections of likeminded people spread narrowly across the globe in small government-controlled colonies. Now two hundred years after earth destroyed itself in a nuclear war, earth continues to battle a racial war between the few humans left on earth, the mutants, and the Martians. Amidst the battle, the planet is unexpectedly approached by the Maxis Sovereign. The sovereign contains an alien species of sentient human-like people hoping to exchange knowledge with earths inhabitants for a life planet side. Crown prince Kie'a of the Sovereign is a man with a moral compass that doesn't quite fit within the confined living quarters of the space vessel. He fights hard, spending over a decade of his young life forcing earth knowledge into every spare neuron assessable. Is it the drive for freedom, as the prince lives a life forced behind a suit of armor- or the drive to make something more of ones life? The United Federation is Earths globally recognized governing body that controls the existing colonies of Earth. After far too many post world war civil battles for Martian rights, Old Berling leads the U.F front with its ability for its citizens to coexist well with the mutants, the humans, and the Martians. However, bigotry is not easily solved. U.F soldiers Malakai, Hendrix, and Zed are tasked with learning more about the otherworldly Maxis Sovereign and in doing so is forced to co-exist in the alien colony. What will the men do when faced with their own personal battles of growing up in a bigoted society, but now have to handle learning about an entire new race of people that threaten the very peace the men are trying to make on earth. Welcome to the earth descension project

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

"Any thought you ever had; memories, desires, your fears and your dreams, are all recorded and stored safely in the Quantum Cloud for your eventual revival. Death is now merely a transitional period to the next stage of your existence. As a QUBIT (quantum processing biosynthetic), you will experience a life free of disease and suffering. Time is no longer your enemy. Regret is a thing of the past. Each new day brings the promise of endless possibilities, spent in the pursuit of your own happiness, guiltless with the knowledge that there are no longer earthly constraints to inhibit you. This is the life you have always wanted. Welcome to your new beginning..." Akropolis is a city at the end of times, a sanctuary where the brightest and best have been housed since the last Great War. A genome defect has afflicted the majority of the population and scientists are desperate to find a cure. In the meantime, man has found his own salvation in the form of the QUBIT (quantum processing bio-synthetic), an android that is capable of prolonging life almost indefinitely, and yet what makes them human in the first place has been lost in the transition. The ruling council believes that salvation is nigh, but whether that hope arrives in time is questionable. The city's future depends upon the actions of a few individuals, all of whom are struggling with their own mortality. Quentin is the boy who dreams of death. Mia is the tortured soul. Trey is the soldier that defines duty. Misao is the future of the ruling council. Claire is the girl with a secret that will rock the foundations of their entire civilization. Unbeknownst to them, the entire fate of Akropolis lies in their hands. Either humanity will find a way to survive or it will sink slowly into the sea of extinction.

As Cassidy trains to lay down her life in order for the people of her continent to die in peace, she uncovers the past of the Pulse, and through it, her own past. But can she handle it? AN: This is a product of NaNoWriMor (National Novel Writing Month) so it's not going to be perfect, and it is completely unedited. There might be some parts that I change in previous chapters as I decide that I need more details to support an event that happens in a later chapter. There might be parts that seem a bit wordy - that's probably me just trying to reach my word count goal (is that cheating?). There might be parts that just seem plain unnecessary - that's me writing a scene, and then not wanting to delete something I spent so much effort on. There might be parts that seem emotionless, or not very well written - that's me powering through writers block. There might be scenes that take the story nowhere - that's because I'm a 'pantser' as NaNoWriMo has so kindly tagged me. I don't plan anything out, except for a very rough plot line. That being said - ALL HATE WELCOME!

The Horton Dilemma [ONC 2022]

20 parts Complete Mature

Izzy Belvin, a famous genetic engineer, is about to blast off to the "final" frontier to join the second Martian Colony, where she'll continue creating nutrient-robust insects for farms that will feed the colony and increase its sustainability. For Izzy's remaining days on Earth, her psychopharmacologist best friend, Nakomi, begs her to complete a bucket list before leaving as a means of honoring their friendship. The first bucket list item: going to one of Portland's psychedelic centers together and taking Vivectica ™, a potent psychedelic drug (synthesized by none other than Nakomi) that has become a popular form psyche-therapy. Izzy reluctantly agrees, and when she encounters a hyper-intelligent reptilian entity on her trip, she can't convince herself that he wasn't real. The days are ticking down until her trip, but Izzy, becoming obsessed with the creature, can't get over her feelings that either 1) she's given herself drug-induced psychosis right before her journey to the red planet, or 2) there's something out there, something beyond space... This novel is a wacky trip with some sprinklings of HORTON HEARS A WHO and ANT-MAN, along with lots of palatable metaphysics. ***This is my entry for the 2022 Open Novella Contest.
