Nearly a century after a nuclear apocalypse destroyed Earth, the last remnants of humanity survive in a space shuttle known as the Ark. As resources are skewed and hope fades, the chancellor of the Ark makes a desperate decision: he authorizes the sending of 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to test the planet's habitability.
In the 100, there was a 17-year-old orphan who lost his mother at the ripe age of 13. His name is Vulcan Romeo Castillo, and little did he know of events about to unfold.
