[Sequel to 'Aquila']
Following the routing of the Chaos Marine Hepharion and his warband on the planet of Pelamon, Caius and the Ultramarines of the 20th Tactical Squad make a hasty dash for the outpost world of Alamarri VIII in an attempt to save their brothers of the Imperial Fist who have been fortifying the world under mysterious orders from the Adeptus Administratum and the Adeptus Mechanicus. Aided by Nuadan and his dwindling squad of Asuryani, Caius sets out to try and stop Hepharion and his warband before they claim another world while protecting the Titan heart salvaged from Polemeca while waiting for an Adeptus Mechanicus vessel to take it to Mars.

Arriving on  Alamarri, they meet Captain Finn Varis of the Imperial Fists and the Forward Engineering Battalion who reveal that the situation might be far more complicated than they would ever imagine as a series of ancient Eldar webway gates are discovered beneath the fortress. Hepharion's interest in the planet could be more threatening than they could possibly imagine.

At first, resources seem scarce with the Black Crusade taking much of the attention and firepower of the Ultramarines. However, help comes in an unexpected form when an Inquisitor's acolyte appears with an unexpected offer for the men of the Twentieth. Across the stars, Bahad is called before the Council of Farseers of his Craftworld and desperately pleads his case for his alliance with Caius and his hunt for Hepharion. However, this falls on deaf ears when the Craftworld, concerned about his continued association with the Imperium, orders him into a temporary arrest to await further judgment. While in isolation. plagued by his visions of what shall happen without his involvement, he, too, receives an unexpected visitor: a Harlequin Solitaire with a keen interest on seeing him reunited with his Ultramarine. The Wandering Astarte (Multiverse) by LaskehHasmet

A space marine name Carlos Aurelius belonging to the Ultramarines Chapter, an Astartes who is favourable by all the daughters of the Empress, the Primarchs. He is the one who united the sisters as one and treat each other as equals and family. In turn they treat him as their own little brother. But soon it changes when the Empress suddenly declared Carlos to be banished from the Imperium for eternity for reasons were unknown. Outrage by the Empress declaration, the Primarchs demanded reasons but Brother Carlos accepted it in which caused the Primarchs to be bitter. There he was escorted out of the Imperium by the Adeptus Custodes before giving a last fare well to the Primarchs. However all turns to worst as he was assaulted by warp spawns from the immaterium, heavily injured and battered armour he makes a last stand against the demonic beings until he found himself in a different universe, will Carlos able to return one day to the Imperium or travel through the multiverse seeking adventure and friends along the way.
