Holidays, birthday parties, and breaks from school were just a few excuses I used to visit my cousin Bethany. Each trip out to Colorado started the same: I made sure my notebook containing their love story was strapped neatly to the front of my suitcase filled with clothes and different colored pens. It was Bethany and the mysterious Alex whom I have never seen that made the words flow from my hand to the pen to the paper. She never told me the story all at once, it was always in pieces that I had to string together to make sense. But, one day, their story will make sense, and it will inspire others to believe in love because I know love is something worth believing in.
