Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters! AH BIG MONSTER!" You're welcome. Fun fact: I played the game in French, so I have ZERO HANDLE on how their dialog sounds in English. *Finger guns and skates off into the sunset* *This is a grammatically LAX fic. -Little Update before description! My writing has improved a lot since I started this book, this is nearly two years old, if you don't care for bad writing read it all, if you do an want genuine good oneshots, I'd say start from around the one titled 'The Wrong Right One' from there my writing is alright and even then you can see improvements considering that one is a year old now, just keep how old this is in mind while you read (realistically speaking I'd say from the last oneshot but I'm overly critical of myself so don't take my word for it 💀) So yeahh It's just a bunch of Ishimondo oneshots Fluff angst erm...
