I thought about how after this, I would have nothing. Nothing at all. I shivered and held my breath, bracing myself for whatever was going to happen next. I didn't even have time to say goodbye.
They placed their hands on my shoulders and head, covering me with a dark, glimmering layer of ice that would seperate me from all I had left.
"No..." I whispered, struggling against the darkness that was already creating an icy film over my lips.
But my mentors had already disappeared. I was too be sent away, once again to fall into utter darkness.
But this time, I would be utterly alone.
