"Why do you keep running?" The voice was deep and short of breath. He must have been running to chase me.
"Why do you keep coming after me?" I asked. I was lying on the ground on my side, staring at the man before me. He lay the same way I did, looking at me with a look I havn't seen before. Suspicion trickled through his eyes.
I wasn't in control of my body and still I spoke and moved. It was dark and the grass I lay on was cold and warm at the same time. It tickled my back and felt like it was nearly frozen, but the grass between us was warm and I could feel the heat pulling me forward.

I shuddered. It had never been so dark, nor so quiet before. There was always the light of the moon to guide me. The sound of the wind against the trees. I shook the thought from my mind and continued further into the wood. Then I saw it. A white light spread across the ground in front of me. The clouds had parted from where they were, revealing the moon at its fullest. I stared in awe. It had never been so bright. The ambiance began to come back. The wind began to dance with the trees. I closed my eyes. The scent of oak filled my nose and exhaled through my mouth. The aroma filled me with exhilaration. It filled me with something I couldn't explain. I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time. Although it was something I wasn't used to feeling, I craved it deeply. I felt happy. I felt as if nothing else mattered than this moment. I opened my eyes. Everything seemed clearer. I could see the particles of dust flying in the beam of light that shone around me. I wanted to stay here for longer. I wanted this moment to last forever. Until I saw the wolf. It was hidden among the fold of trees behind me. It stared at me in aggravation. It's brows furrowed in my direction. It's face, livid with anger, revealed a set of unpleasant and sharp teeth. It began to move slightly forward. The wolf bounded towards me. It happened so quickly I had no time to react. It's limbs outstretched. It's teeth bared. My body, paralyzed from fear, refused to move. My lip quivered, urged to call for help, but no help would come. I was too deep into the woods. I twist the end of the red strings that tie around my neck. My red hood flying behind me, as if wings. I hear a loud creak and turn around quickly. The red eyes glow amongst the darkness. The air reeked of the smell of sulfur. I point my crossbow into the darkness. "Show yourself" I shout out calmly. "Oh, little miss Red, you are looking for Jenivive, aren't you? Well it's just me, her loyal servant" The voice echoes through the abandoned factory. Damn it! "Bastian, show yourself!" I yell, and hear the sound of someone running. I turn around to see Bastian in my face, no breathe flowed from his mouth. I immediately shoot, sending holy water into its core, and into its blood stream. It falls over and begins spazing out. "Go back to hell!" I yell and stab it with my blade. My red hood flew backwards, causing my black hair to be shown. My black boots stretched to my knees. My crystal blue eyes shown bright. We have been on the run for days now. The safety of my children is my priority. I was betrayed in the worst way, and I could not watch him hurt us any longer. I never saw my life going this way but here I am running for my life and my children's. This was the last bus stop, and I had a choice to make. I hope that I would not make the wrong one. He could find us at any moment and I imagine him dragging me all the way back by my hair. I didn't know who to trust but sometimes you just have to take a leap. I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. He had seen the beast set a local hut that obviously had people inside it on fire, the agonizing cries filled the forest hunting his sanity and before long blood started oozing out of the hut. The run was long and torturous for Kelvin, for reasons he can't tell his body was heavy and difficult to move and the creature was getting closer with each passing seconds. They continued racing racing until Kelvin lost it, he halted to catch his breath but then he saw the same creature in his front with an evil smirk on its face showing his big fangs, his elongated nails were dripping with blood.
