Stoinis century takes Lucknow to six-wicket win over Chennai

Lucknow Super Goliaths registered a major win over Chennai Super Lords as Marcus Stoinis drove the charge of an unbeaten 124, getting their pursuit of 211 with six wickets and three balls in excess in Tuesday's Indian Chief Association (IPL) conflict.

Stoinis, conveying his maiden IPL century and his second in T20 cricket, eclipsed Chennai captain Ruturaj Gaikwad's unbeaten 108 at the Mama Chidambaram Arena.

Regardless of a temperamental beginning leaving them at 88-3 after 11 overs, Stoinis collaborated with Nicholas Pooran, who contributed 34 off 15 balls, and later with Deepak Hooda, framing a conclusive 65-run organization to seal the success in 19.3 overs.
