Matt Taven and Ashlyn Edwards has a past that most people has forgotten about but not their fans, Eddie, Alisha, Team B.A.D or Honor No More so when Matt comes to Impact after Ring of Honor closes, Ash tries her best to avoid any interactions.

But that backfires when Eddie, her brother joins the group at No Surrender which puts her previous relationship with Taven in the spotlight due to them wanting her to join, her relationship with best friend and tag partner Jordynne Grace takes a toll and Alisha is on Impact's side.

There's only a matter of weeks until she can't take it anymore and she joins her brother which makes not only her brother happy but also Matt Taven since they're now back together.

Now that she's part of the group, she now has started a rivalry with former best friend and tag partner Jordynne Grace, with help from Matt, Eddie and the group Ash is more determined than ever to become Knockouts champion and to end this rivalry with Grace.
