Amara De Luca had been on the cruel earth for eleven years, and had been in a human trafficking rink for nine of them. She tried to escape, but she wasn't smart or strong enough. She thinks all hope is lost, and this is the life she's destined for when she's suddenly saved by the family she never knew she had. But it won't be easy for her to revert back into a normal setting, when she doesn't really remember being in one in the first place.
She's haunted, bruised and broken. But can the De Luca family change that? Will they be able to turn her back into the smiley little girl she used to be? Most importantly: can they help her learn to trust them and requite the love they have for her?

The Giovanni's are the Italian Mafia. It is the most powerful mafia. For 8 generations the family have been trying to have a princess in the family but have been unsuccessful.
