**Be aware that this is a manXman story so if that bothers you then please don't read! 5th in Breaking Series. There are certain things that make a man a man in late 1870's Texas. Being able to rope, ride and handle cattle to name a few. Shooting from the hip, playing poker and throwing back whiskey never hurt either. Nick could do all those things but none of that would matter if anyone knew the truth about him-if anyone knew his secret. So to protect that secret, Nick keeps to himself as he works on the ranch at Atkinson Spread. He likes his job and the bosses are decent but Nick is lonely. Covered in scars, both of the physical and emotional variety, he longs for one person he can truly be himself around. That one person he can love. Aiden is running. He's been running since his family realized what he was, called him an abomination and cursed him to death. Bakerstown Texas is where his legs and his will to run finally give out. Somehow he finds himself hired on to work at Atkinson spread though he knows nothing about cattle. He has already resigned himself to a life alone but that thought goes out the window when he lays his eyes on a ranch hand named Nick. Even then, Aiden knows he can't have Nick. Nick doesn't seem to suffer from the same condition that Aiden was born with and so there's not a lot Aiden can do about his attraction to the other man. Until a night at the saloon goes a bit too far...... Can these two men be together or will their secret be found out and their disease dealt with the frontier way?

Leave now. Please." As the sweat beading down his forehead started pooling, causing the pillow's pristene white sheats to be dampened, his plea came out in one labored, tired, breath. Wyatt and Doc stare at each other. A silent emotion, no one else on God's green earth, could ever explain, passes between them. Wyatt weighs his options. He thinks heavily on whether he should tell his dying friend, that the woman he cherished the most, never lost their baby that night. Instead, a son was born. A son that shared the blood of the infamous Doc Holliday, and a woman who would be forgotten with time. For she wanted to disappear. And disappear she did. Doc only knew of the tragic death of his beloved and his son, who supposedly, never even took a breath. Wyatt contemplated telling his friend the truth. He decided. Wyatt stood up apprehensively, taking one last look at his friend. "Thanks for always being there Doc." They exchanged knowing looks, nodding at each other. ~~~ The reasons behind all that transpired to that woman giving up her son for Virgil Earp and his wife to raise and her wanting to vanish, is hard to comprehend unless you know the story. And this is it.

Anicka Perez made a bad marriage but didn't know it until her husband beat her when they returned from their honeymoon--all because she was too tired to have sex . Faced with the realization of the true nature of the man she married, she ran away in the middle of the night barefooted and taking her pregnant cat. She beat on doors until a kind woman took her in and called her mother who came and fetched her home. Her mother called the cops, and it only took one look for them to realize how badly she'd been hurt. The family huddles together to decide what to do. Her mother Paola and brother Ramon can support her for a few months, but both are shocked when she announces she is going to look for her beloved Benito. His last known address was the Yellowstone so that is where she intends to start. She rides but not well enough to be a ranch hand. She can cook and muck stalls, that could -be enough to get her hired for something. She can't wait to leave Texas and finds herself driving her father's old truck and heading north. She had to leave her beloved cat behind, but her sister gives her a half-grown German shepherd puppy to keep her company. She gets to Montana and the Yellowstone and is offered a job mucking stalls. She hears about a mysterious place they call the "Train Station" and wonders if that is where her brother ended up. The Duttons have accepted her, but she is cautious, using her fake names and telling no one who she is. When Travis Wheatley comes to the ranch and meets her, he knows he has met the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. She finds herself falling in love, but to be with Travis means returning to Texas, and all the bad memories. Will she be able to overcome her fears, will love win her over? Only time will tell. I'd like to thank everyone who read my first book, Yellowstone: Love and Cowboys. Some of you asked me if I'd write another story featuring Travis as the love interest, so I hope you like this one!
