The story references more than just a boys life. The story reflects off my own life. However, the acts of terrorism and death was NOT a factor I had to deal with. Everything that was used in the book was something that DID happen but was highly dramatized. My school did almost have a shooting and I was forced away from a loved one. They're different but the same.
