The Underground city may have rose to the surface, but its population never changed. Thieves, criminals and conmen still roam its streets. Stuck between the mountains and the roadblocks, anyone living there inevitably found themselves entwined in shady businesses and violence.

The best way to survive was to lay low and know who to be wary of. At the top of the list, one man, feared by most, admired by the rest. Kenny's boy was haunted by demons and as amicable as a brick wall, and for a rich girl on the brink of disownment, falling for him wasn't the smartest decision.
