Following Hearts of Delmar 2, The loveable dumbasses of Delmar M44 are back for a freeform miniseries, and doing great...right up until all hell breaks loose as usual. 

Paradise is shattered yet again, proving maybe this place isn't so perfect after all, when a cargo ship accidentally brings a wave of rapidly reproducing alien bugs with a neurotoxin bite and a bloodlust for organic flesh. The only solution is a full lockdown, confinement to homes in a zombie-apocalype style sleepover, which (as we know with all government lockdowns) only lasts about 2 weeks tops and should go back to normal after that. 


So what could go wrong putting a bunch of diverse aliens idiots in a house locked down like a sealed jar, containing 2 giant testosterone and drug fueled titan ex-mortal enemies dating the same woman, several pairs of sexually frustrated extroverts, a mentally deranged sexbot, overridden with a therapy robot program, who's now hacked with an overlord with a god complex, an assassin with an itchy trigger finger, a pair of rival clones, a nudist mermaid and an adorably destructive 90 pound reptile? 
	Surely things like toxic masculine competition, general isolation insanity, buried feelings, rampant infidelity, and killing sprees would never happen...right?

The world was ending, which was a pretty major bummer. But, as Lucy and Malcolm saw it, at least they had each other, and also a working jeep. However, unlike most, they couldn't care less about why the world was ending. The two just wanted a place to lay low and make art. Sure, it was totally uncool that towns and cities all over the world were being burned to the ground due to mass hysteria, but the lovers were filled with enough positive vibes (and a decent amount of weed) that they vowed to make this whole 'end-of-the-world thing' work. Little did they realize that the fall of humanity would prove to be the most significant test of their twelve-year relationship. This surreal short story begins four months after the collapse first started, with the ostensibly lackadaisical couple only now managing to find a suitable shelter. Despite the safe haven, the chaotic cacophony of this cataclysmic event still lingers just on the other side of the walls. So, the lovers resolve to ward off the inevitable melancholy that usually follows such tragedies by simply ignoring the events outside, hoping that will keep their relationship (and sanity) from falling apart, unlike the rest of the world.

The being wasn't like other's any of them had seen. They wanted to know how it was possible in the world that was nothing but desert, and infection. 0-Sa was also alone, which was unusual for the species. The Irinaut became valuable quite quickly, having found no spore infection visibly on him. The team had one job, obtain and return the creature alive, but they would soon come to find out that the cargo would be more difficult to transport then they thought.

Well...except most of that. Nicole wakes up tied to a chair staring down the snout of a very not-dead Kraken with a hell of a resurrection story proving that in a world where cloning technology exists, nobody is truly dead if someone wealthy enough wants you back, but despite Osirian and human cloning being an exact science, it seems there are some unforeseen problems with the mixed species clones. A zombie Kraken with an Evil Nicole by his side threatens and blackmails Vinn and other Nicole, as politics rears its ugly head again, finding that the laws are still very much broken on this little moon. An undead monster struggles with the question of "if he has a soul", and can he change who he was, while Stockholm syndrome comes out to play. Nicole has to face her deepest fear, her literal cloned self who's inexplicably banging the monster they spent all of book 1 killing, and the only solution is that someone has to sacrifice their life for the good of the others, and this time they have to fight a god to do it.
