"Ashes of a Mirror" is a haunting tale of identity, loss, and the struggle to be seen. Irfanah Sha'abaan has spent her life in the shadow of her perfect twin, Raihana. The world adores Raihana - the bright, charismatic twin who seems to have it all. Meanwhile, Irfanah, the introverted, misunderstood second twin, battles not only her own inner demons but also the feeling of being invisible in her own family. she's left to navigate life alone, finding solace only in books and painting. But everything changes when a tragic accident leaves the family shattered, and Fanah is plaqued with the haunted decision to live in her twin's place. Will she pretend to be the one who died. Now, living with the weight of guilt and grief, she moves miles away from everything with her father, seeking a fresh start, but can she truly escape the pain of her past? At her new college, Irfanah hides behind an evasive persona, both literally and figuratively. She's brilliant but isolated until she meets someone who sees through the mask-him. A charming boy with a dark past of his own, carrying the scars of a tragedy he can't forget. As their paths intertwine, Fanah must decide if she can truly open up to someone, or if she'll remain a ghost in the mirror, and see the ashes of a shattered mirror, forever haunted by the ashes of her twin's life. Can two broken souls find healing amidst the thorns, or will their pasts destroy them both?

Morgan Hall is your average teenager. That is if you consider having a billionaire CEO of a world renowned company as a dad and a fashion designer of one of the most famous lines in the world as a mother average. Let's not leave out her singer/actress of a sister who's taking the world by storm. Morgan was no doubt born with a giant silver spoon in her mouth, but her life isn't always as perfect as it seems. Aaron Smith, quiet and reserved, admired my many for his good looks. He doesn't seem to associate himself with many people. Which is why it's so strange when he finds himself becoming friends with the rich, little, daddy's girl...at least that's what he thinks of her. Fate and chance are at work when they cross paths one afternoon on a bus. Throw in crazy lives and secret identities, and you get one hell of a ride on the road to self discovery. What Morgan doesn't know is that one stubborn move could land her a new friend, and possibly even more. ~~~~~ "It's amazing...magical even, how hearing one song can take you back to a single moment or a series of them, just so you can live it all over again," he said. "I think that's the best part about music. It's like time travel you know? Going back to the past, or sometimes even visualizing the future...what we could be." "What about the sad moments?" I asked softly. "Nobody wants to re-live those." "Maybe not, but that's the entirety of it," he answered, raising his hand to brush away the hair from my face before tucking it behind my ear. "There's always good in the bad, and bad in the good. Balance." His fingers trailed down my arm, sending shock waves through me. "Can I tell you something?" I asked softly. The corner of his lips curved upwards in a small smile. "You can tell me anything."
