Everyone over the age of fifteen has an identical scar running down the center of their chest. This is the age that we get our new hearts, hearts that beat in time with our soul mate's and glow when we are near them. Some of us have it easy, their soul mate was their best friend or their next-door neighbor, but for most it's a race against time to find their other half before it's too late. Rumors have been surfacing, telling things of how the newer hearts only work with an emotional bond formed, or how some don't even work at all. Others malfunction, causing one to be a faulty. Others just drop dead. With every tick of the clock and beat of her heart, Lucy is getting closer and closer to turning nineteen, but her soul mate remains undiscovered. In a desperate attempt to find her true love, she embarks on a cross-country journey where she meets a strange girl named Killian among other peculiar characters. But this search for love is also a search for survival. If Lucy doesn't unite with her soul mate by her nineteenth birthday, her heart will stop searching, and she'll become an Outcast, thrown outside her country. Cover was made by lovely @Toucann

Soulmate

This utopia is a perfect combination of technology and magic: every person has the exact same scars, moles, whatever skin markings as their soulmate, and in the exact same places. It eliminates confusion and totally takes the necessity out of dating. But Juno is almost eighteen, and she hasn't found her soulmate yet. Talha hasn't found his either. When the two collide at a wedding, their perfectly constructed utopia unravels rapidly. Can two people fall in love in one day? Is it better to wait for a soulmate, or is it worth it to work through the struggles with someone else?
