The bloodline of Fyr is a guarded secret among the Tyrrish. No one but the Tyrrish know of the Fyr's true gifts and secrets. Because among the provinces of Navarre, the Fyr bloodline is the most powerful. Fyrs are known to be royalty among the dragons - although not many know this. This is because, while Tyrrish and Navarians have to bond themselves to a dragon through the Rider's Quadrant, individuals of the Fyr bloodline are bonded to their dragon upon their birth - a tie much deeper than any other. Upon a Fyr's birth, their souls are split - one remaining in the Fyr descendant and the other merging with their dragon's soul. But unlike the rest of Navarre, if a descendant of the Fyr blood line dies, so does their dragon. If a Fyr's dragon dies, so does the rider. Because one can't live without the other.

But there is one secret that only the Fyr, the Riorson's, and the people Fen Riorson and his son chose, know of this secret. This secret is Danielle Fyr, the only remaining descendant of the Blood of Fyr after the Tyrrish Rebelion ended. She is a heavily guarded secret, not only because she is the heir of the Blood of Fyr, but she is also bonded to not one, not two, but THREE dragons - making her the most dangerous Fyr to have ever lived.
