Tauriel was born of her mothers final breath and has been attempting to earn her father, Willem Brazier's, affection ever since. Her brother, Skender, had been the one to raise her and teach her everything she knows about hunting and gathering. Once Skender was drafted into the military, Tauriel was left with her father in their tiny cabin. Willem works the mines all day whilst Tauriel hunts in the woods. Her lonely existence leaves her to grieve her brother's abscence, but rumors fly about the troops moving north. When a battalion makes camp just outside the bereft mining town, Tauriel attempts to find her brother, but instead comes face to face with the most feared general in the realm.

Embers of the Broken (Book 1)

66 parts Complete Mature

In a realm where magic intertwines with the mundane, Sylvia, a fierce and emotionless fae warrior, navigates the treacherous landscape of her existence. Orphaned since birth, she has learned to rely solely on herself and the voice that guided her away from the clutch of death. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is adopted by male named Jasper Aeraviel, a powerful baron known for his strength and compassion. Under the Baron's guidance and the care of her new siblings, Sylvia is thrust into a world of emotions she has long suppressed. As she trains to hone her skills, she must also confront the walls she has built around her heart. With the Baron's patient mentorship, she learns what it means to care, but her instincts always drove her to shut people out. To wrap that ice wall tight around her heart. Dark forces now threaten the continent and her people, and Sylvia must confront not only external enemies but also her internal struggles and then she met him. A male as cold and feared as she was. A male that had her questioning who she was. All while learning to embrace her emotions and not lose herself in the process. Book 1 of the Forsaken Saga
