"Why do you do that?" Jade asked. 
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said while starting to walk away.
She came up to me and said, "Exactly this," she gestured with her hands between us, "You always brush everyone off and also your problems," she spat. "Was it the way you were treated in the past or something?" She assumed.
I went up to her and cornered her against two walls, "You know nothing about my past, hell you don't even know me," I chuckled. 
"I know enough to know that you're hurt," she looked down.
"Why do you even care anyways?" I looked at her. 
"Can you really not see it?" She said hurt. "Luke, I can't stand you, knowing you're hurt kills me even more."
I leaned in and could hear her heart beat faster each time I get close to her.
"Do you-" I looked away, "Do you really feel that way?" 
She put her hands on my jawline forcing me to her look at her.

We bump into each other. "What the..???" I steady myself, grabbing his jacket and prevent myself from falling backward. "Run!" He says. "What?" I release him. "Run," he grabs my hand and starts pulling me with him. "Why would I...?" I turn around while I'm dragged toward the stairs and see Tiffany, all angry and face cherry red come throw the door Jordan had exited a minute ago. "You dirty bitch!" The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. I hold my head, trying to subside the pain tht now grows. "Mr. Parker is staring at me." I throw my fist against the metal bar I'm contained against,"Mr Parker!? He's there with you? Cover yourself, dear." "Figured that out already. Thanks for your help." I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "I'm here as a friend, not a foe. Though you do look ravishing, might I add?" Mr. Parker states. "What do you mean friend not a foe? I'm pretty sure you're the big enemy here." She tightens her hold on herself. He sighed,"Maybe so, but do you want to know where your friend is or not?" "Yes, please." She begged. "No! Skye! Don' make deals with him!" I yell. I know exactly where this is leading. I could feel her gaze burning in my direction, though I'm 99.99% sure she can't see me"What do you want, Mr Parker?" He sighed, like it was obvious. Elijah got up off of Luke and looked at me. "What? After all I have done to you?" He asked. He walk towards me. Everyone was looking. "You can add Ash and Luke again to your list of saving me from." I laughed. "Well fuck. By the time I marry you that list will be long." He laughed. "Do I drive you crazy?" I asked. He got closer to me. "Yeah but everyone drives me crazy."
