Lenora Baker was an ordinary 13 year old living her life in a good little town in Georgia. Living would be a good word to put it despite her home living situation. 

She lives with her father, Carter baker, and her mother, Rebecca Baker. Her sister moved out causing Lenora to survive alone. Abigail Baker was put through enough she had to leave and Lenora had finally understood. 

Lenora finds herself at a wits end trying to survive in the apocalypse as well as life while so many obstacles get in her way.
