Hot shot is born to Heatwave and Quickshadow. Hot shot is a little boy but he has heart defects. Hot shot is going to need a lot of care as he grows. Hot shot has several surgeries as other procedures as he grows but he is used to it. Hot shot knows it is important to take care of his heart. Hot shot has four friends his age who also have heart defects. Hot shot soon starts to have more problems with his heart at five years old. He is told by his cardiologist he needs a new heart. Which means Hot shot needs a heart transplant. Luckily Texas Children's hospital where he gets his heart care is some of the best doctors there to do the job. He has a headache that won't go away, he is vomiting, he is tired, he is walking funny, he is loosing coordination, he is falling down a lot, and he has a head tilt. He is feeling so bad one night his parents rush him to the ER of Cook Children's hospital. There Hot shot is admitted for being sick and was in a lot of pain.
