Jessie has killed two of the biggest monsters from her past, but not before her mind was hijacked and she tried killing Minho. Yet somehow, he managed to break through the mind control and bring her back. 

The red code book was destroyed, but that won't stop Janson in trying to figure out why she can break through the mind control and others can't. Why is she a Super Immune to the Flare and others aren't? 

Jessie is vaunerable to WICKED and their new ways of torture and manipulation. WICKED still wants their cure, but only their way. She's stuck in an adjoining cell with Minho on one side and Sonya on the other, Jason and Aris somewhere down the hall as well. They are familiar with each other's screams. Until one day she's all alone. 

Everyone was rescued. Jessie is now alone with her mind even more clouded and lost then ever before. Her defiance and noncompliance is running low. She's losing hope.

While back at the Right Arm Camp, everyone is doing their best to find her. The longer it takes the more unstable and reckless Minho becomes. Minho is ready to burn the world down. His anger, guilt and trauma have taken a front seat.
