This is an alternate telling of how Bracken is brought into the story of Fablehaven and how Alyssa becomes a part of the story for more than the few canon pages. It starts in the fourth book when Kendra is held prisoner by Torina. Also, I ship Alyssa and Kendra, this isn't a brackendra story. Title inspired by Heroes by David Bowie :)Public Domain
