A Crime Worth Committing

Skylar Sloan, a 21-year-old college student studying criminology, hoping to follow in her late father's footsteps as a detective. Her father was killed on assignment while pursuing a notorious serial killer when she was 17. Despite her grief, Skylar remains determined to bring justice for her father's loss. After her mother's recent death she finds herself alone, and with little means to support herself, she turns to babysitting as a means of staying afloat. Through a 'live-in nanny wanted' advertisement, she gets an opportunity to work for a physician, Dominic Shaw, 36. His daughter, Emerald, a two-year-old girl who needs caring and nurturing. Skylar hopes her job with Shaw provides her with enough money to stay afloat and help her get through college. It's a difficult task, but as an intelligent and resourceful young woman, Skylar is determined to do whatever it takes to make ends meet. But through heated gazes and intense tension between the two, Skylar often wonders how or if this is worth it.
