Eye of Darkness

A war between a powerful circle ruled by fear and a kingdom by faith brings a continent's fate at the edge of a blade.

Julius Dagon, the ruler of the kingdom of Barrowmire, grows desperate over the results of his kingdom's battle against the Circle of Arcana, a group of archmages controlled by their fear of their so-called "Rising Darkness" in which a powerful being known only to them as "the Darkness" will arise and eradicate the Earth of all life and seemingly begin anew. Their inane actions of preventing this day to arrive has earned the irk of several kingdoms. But only Barrowmire chose to attack as they are the only ones capable of battling the archmages' magic. And with the odds against them, Julius sends his son, Martius, to find aid, and, in his search, stumbles upon a castle hidden far away from the rest of the world, finding a witch who have lived many lifetimes, yet never ages, as well as a bitter history with the Darkness itself. He then comes to realize that he and his father has found an unexpected ally.
