All around me is dark and dusty. The clouds are grey and musty. The howls of the wind make my head spin. My white satin night gown is in ruins, because of evil's doings. My flawless skin is now ripped apart. I cant't even remember the start. My tawny hair sticks to my face. To everyone else I'm a disgrace. Everyone except him. The man in white. The knight, my knight. He stands tall and mighty while I'm in my nighty. His shiny armor stained in crimson blood. My blood. My knight is like a raging lion. He's on the verge of devouring his prey.I'm his prey. As I bow my head he steps forward. And then with my dying breaths I lung at him with all my force. My chest rested on his. He held me with some much love and affection. Finally he spoke just as my body slumped and feet gave out. "Marry me!"He whispered picking me up gently and resting me in my bed in my room. The blood continued to gush from my chest. "Yes!" I whispered back just before he left me and jumped back out the window. And with my last dying breathes as the blood gushed I screamed out then my eye lids close maybe never to be opened again. "Help!"I exclaim before falling into deep sleep. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ This story is the first of the Black Whispers series

Seraphina Calloway always believed she would recognize betrayal if it ever came near her marriage. She imagined it loud. Obvious. Unforgivable. She never imagined it would look like this. Like her husband smiling at another woman the way he used to smile at her. Like late-night messages that weren't inappropriate - just intimate. Like emotional comfort slowly being outsourced. And she definitely never imagined standing outside a glass office in downtown Los Angeles... Watching her husband hesitate before pulling away from another woman's lips. The kiss wasn't hungry. It wasn't desperate. It was worse. It was familiar. And in that single second - She realized she had already been replaced emotionally long before that moment happened. She didn't scream. She didn't storm in. She simply turned... And walked away from the life she thought was unbreakable.
