Isla has always played football ever since she first saw her big sister, Beth Mead, play with the local boys team. Isla loved watching her sister fly through the England age groups as well as playing for big clubs but things weren't as easy for her.

Isla never had the chance to attend a centre of excellence like her older sister so things were a lot harder for her but this didn't stop her. She managed to get scouted by the Newcastle United Academy, whilst they were living in Sunderland and this is where her career really took off.

Isla currently plays for Manchester United whilst Beth plays for Arsenal. However, Isla rarely gets played under Marc Skinners side and therefore isn't being called up for England even though she has the potential to be Englands next captain.

Isla's contract has 6 months left on her contract with Manchester United but she feels overlooked. Will she take the leap of faith and go on loan to better her career or will she stay where she's comfortable and risk being forgotten?
