Elizabeth Davis, also known as Lizzy, is a 13 year old girl who thought she had a normal life, but of course, she didn't. Looking into the past, she found out 43 women gave birth all around the world without showing any aspects of pregnancy prior to giving birth. Looking through the names of the women who gave birth, to her surprise, she found her mother's name, Sammy Davis, amongst the names. After finding out that knowledge, she started to develop unusual powers, which altered an organization that was desperate to stay running. Her mother decided it was time to take her to an old friend of hers, Reginald Hargreeves. He agreed to teach Lizzy how to control her powers. But one day, as she was walking to the Hargreaves house, she got captured by the organization, and as a result, she went missing for 16 years. 16 years later, on the day of Reginald Hargreeves funeral, her and Five Hargreaves showed up, both of them not looking a day over 13.

And the fact that these children were all born with supernatural powers, which is incredibly extraordinary. Eccentric billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made it his mission to locate and train these children. He got seven of them: Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five, Ben and Vanya. They formed the Umbrella Academy. Elena Romero was a normal girl that hadn't discovered what, if anything, was extraordinary about her. The only thing worth noting is her amazing ability to suffer through hellish dates and live with an over-dramatic mother and an addict of a brother. Some could say her super power was making her dysfunctional family appear functional. She was the glue that held her family together, she was their remedy. Therefore he adopted a child, her name was Elizabeth. Soon, she had to ability to turn her body into a gas. However, after that succeeded he got mad with power. He wanted to see if it was possible to make someone immortal. it was much too dangerous to try to on himself, therefore, he chose Elizabeth. Instead of making her immortal, it made her "stuck" in a way. She simply did not age, she was stuck in the body of her 13-year-old self. She would eventually die as her mind aged, but her appearance would stay the same.
