Though, when she wakes up at the start of our story she doesn't remember who she is and where she is now. The world is not the same. In fact, the world is 98% water. Vast ocean as far as the eye can see and only one small country to speak of. This planet is unlike any other in any universe as the man who rules here is none other than the feared pirate Davy Jones. 

Davy Jones is no longer just a captain he is the king and god of the planet Caerula. He still collects souls lost at sea, but his true goals are much more nefarious. When he finds Calypso, daughter of his long forgotten enemy, he chooses to take her as his revenge.

She made a name for herself in her ruthlessness, saving no mercy for any gender or rank. Along her life she got herself into a spat with Davy Jones on the seas, interfering with souls he was trying to collect by force. She said it was an imbalance to the natural order but he in turn nearly killed her..Tia Dorma nursed her back to health when she found Jessica washed up on the shores of her island. Her entire crew had been killed and she was left barely alive. So Tia Dorma decided to held her in exchange for her beating heart. Jessica didn't understand at the time, and claimed she had no use for it so she could happily take it. Everyone she ever cared about was dead anyways so what did she need it for? However, Tia said there was much about a human heart that she had yet to lean and she would only give the heart back once it heals and Jessica could "properly utilize it" whatever the hell that meant.. Until then Tia would put a spell on Jessica. She couldn't die until something in Jessica stirred that cold heart of hers..read to see more!
