All Danny has encountered is misery and hatred he looks at the world in a different way. He believes there is no such thing as someone being caring and loving, all he knows is that the world is a cruel and disgraceful place. How can a young innocent boy think this way. Even though Danny constantly suffers he always looks out for his younger brother, he is the meaning to Danny's life without him there is nothing! To escape the cruel world, they go into their own world where they can imagine whatever they want where it is just the two of them and no one else.
