Lifeline

Annabeth is your typical everyday nerd girl. She's really introverted and she hates the limelight. She didn't really like her stepmother, Helen as they would have disagreements now and then. (I promise you, Helen is not a bad guy in this story)
She has a small group of friends who keeps her going. Otherwise, she would be dead. Why? She attempted suicide a few months ago. They're the only things that keep her will to live. She's broken, but she tries.

There is one person that she finds very annoying.

Percy is the most popular kid in school, not that he wants to.

Percy appreciates that. He wants to be known for him inside, not from outside. Percy acts tough but inside, he's lonely and alone. His friends are not even real friends, they're only hear cause they can get more girls and be more popular.
