Tatum is a 14 year old coming of age teenage girl.  She lives in a small town with her aunt and uncle and 5 beautiful sisters.  Tatum has always felt like the ugly duckling of her family.  She is a tomboy that plays on the boys little league team and most of her friends are boys.  Tatum leaves for the beginning of the summer and returns to find that the boys have changed and they think that she has too.  Tatum starts to notice her best friend Max might be more than just a friend.  While Max is starting to think the same way about Tatum.  But as luck would have it, other girls are starting to notice Max as more than a friend as well, including Tatums friend Lizzie.  Lizzie asks Tatum to hook her and Max up much to Tatums dismay.  Friendships may be destroyed as secret crushes emerge!
