"I saw the fear in her eyes...The need to be something more. And in her gaze, I saw my soul reflected. Dragons weren't mindless killers of Hellhiem! They fought for survival like humanity!"
Their only chance was to work together, TRY to bring peace between the warring species.
Firefew Island seems reluctant to reason, brains hardwired by generations of malnutrition and war, believing that what they had wasn't nearly enough. If only Carloa and the Storm Fury could break their habits, and prove to them that the world they knew, was changing.
Will the time come for peace?
Will the boy and his dragon experience failure?
Will this plague come again?
All these questions, may be answered in time.
