In a distant future, six children accidentally traverse parallel universes and return with monstrous entities from these other realms. 
Despite Earth's futuristic advancements in technology, chemistry, and physics, nothing can subdue or send these creatures back. 
However, there's a glitch in the children's favour: they have somehow acquired superhuman abilities that might help combat the monstrous threat. 
United by their newfound powers, they vow to protect the terrified civilians who blame them for the monsters' arrival. With no time to learn what altered their biology to grant these abilities, they fight day and night to save their city from destruction.
