Paper Mario: The Spell of Ultimate Power

3 weeks after Olly's defeat and Olivia's sacrifice, Mario finds himself fallen into a serious depression and is unable to cope. Luigi and Bowser haven't left his side, but no matter what they can't get him back to his old self. Rejuvenated as ever, Peach feels in a good mood to bake a big cake, but ends up receiving a letter from Merlee. The fortune teller has invited the princess, the Mario Bros., and Bowser to New Cauldronville, Merlee's hometown for an annual festival on the island city. Peach agrees, though is also warned that they need to bring someone else along in their travel group with magic powers to get in. Bowser suggests having Kammy accompany them since she is one of his most powerful and trusted magikoopas, and that she was also born in New Cauldronville. Kammy reluctantly accepts, having some lingering trauma. Though of course, the crew cannot have a single day of peace as a new threat arises, none other than Kammy's twin sister and a band of familiar foes who have taken some even more familiar friends hostage. She plans to take over the world using an ancient spell that grants her and her allies ultimate power. Bragging about posessing all the ingredients for the spell, Kammy manages to scatter them before they can be used. Unsure as ever, the group is roped into saving the world, again by collecting the ingredients before Kathy's coven can.
