October 31, 1999 (11:23 p.m) “Go on” Nick said, pushing me into the house. The floorboard creaked beneath my feet. I didn’t want to go any further, but he kept pushing me. The rest of my friends gathered near the door while he pushed me even further into the house. Finally he stopped once we got to the middle of the room. “Okay I did it, can I leave now?” I asked. When I got no answer I quickly looked behind me and saw him running towards the door. I ran after him, sweat forming on my forehead. I was too late. The door slammed with a loud thud. I tried opening up the door, but it wouldn’t budge. “Let me out!” I screamed, banging on the door. I wanted to look around to look for another exit, but I was too scared to move my body. I didn’t stop banging on the door. “Let me out!” I screamed another time as tears streamed down my face. “Let me out” I said almost inaudible, giving up.

"Fuck this shit." I kissed my teeth, growing even more impatient. I pivoted on my feet, ready to go back to my car but stopped when I heard a low voice speak. "You came?" If my hearing wasn't impeccable, I would've thought that was just the wind howling. I turned back to face the door and there stood Nicki. The first thing I noticed was how drained she looked. Her almond eyes almost unrecognisable with how puffy and red they were. Her nose looked permanently tainted pink. And she looked sickly, as if she'd vomit at any point. My brows furrowed as my eyes were trained on her every move. "I did."
